Jeremy Spain Joins Women?s Track Staff

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. --- The UAB track and field team has hired Jeremy Spain as an assistant coach, according to an announcement by head coach Ray Stanfield.
Spain spent the last two seasons as an assistant coach at Spain Park High School in Hoover (Ala.). Spain was also a track coach at the Crosspoint Christian Sports Camp in Nashville (Tenn.) in the summers of 1997 and 1998.
Spain attended Jacksonville State University (Jacksonville, Ala.) on an athletic scholarship until an injury in the fall of 1995 ended his career.
