UAB's Track and Field Signs Two to Recruiting Class

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. --- UAB?s track and field team has announced the signing of two more prospects to its recruiting class Thursday, including a six-time state champion, according to an announcement by head coach Ray Stanfield.

Genoah Collins, who attends J.O. Johnson High School in Huntsville, Ala. is a six-time state champion in the 400 and 800-meter races for indoor and outdoor competition.

Elizabeth Ambrus, who attends Willow Meadows High School in Arlington Heights, Ill., is a state qualifier for cross country, as well as indoor and outdoor track as a distance runner.
