UAB-TCU Baseball Game Time Moved

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB baseball team's game against Conference USA rival TCU Sunday at Young Memorial, originally scheduled for a 1 p.m. start, has been moved to noon.
The Blazers are hosting TCU in a three-game series over the weekend at Young Memorial Field. Friday, the teams meet at 7 p.m. and Saturday's first pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m.
Saturday's game will follow the UAB spring football scrimmage which begins at 1:30 p.m. at West Campus Field.
UAB (21-10, 6-5 Conference USA) is coming off a 3-2 Conference USA loss at Houston last Sunday. The Cougars swept the three-game series against the Blazers.
The Blazer pitching staff ranks second in C-USA in opposing batting average (.231) and ERA (3.44 ERA).
TCU (20-15, 7-5 Conference USA) is coming off a 5-4 loss at C-USA rival Memphis in game two of a doubleheader last Saturday. The Horned Frogs won the first game 8-0. Memphis won the Friday night contest 9-6 and took two games out of the three-game set. TCU places fourth in the C-USA standings.
Tickets for Friday and Sunday's games are $5 for adults, $2 for children ages 3-12, children 2 and under are admitted free and UAB students are admitted free with a valid student ID. Admission to Saturday's game is free.
