MIAMI, Fla. ----- Junior Brooke Mangan fired a second-round 81 to improve to 12th overall, leading the Lady Blazers after two rounds of play at the FIU/Pat Bradley Invitational. As a team, UAB sits in seventh overall with a 651 (328-323), improving one spot in the team standings.
"I was glad to see some improvement, especially from our players who didn't perform well in the first round," UAB golf head coach Kim Wilcox said. "We were able to deal with the conditions a little better this afternoon. Hopefully we can use some momentum and make a strong finish on Sunday."
