Volleyball Set To Host UAB Invitational

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB volleyball team will host the UAB Invitational over the weekend at Bartow Arena. Friday, UAB will face Tennessee State at 2 p.m. and will take on Troy State at 6 p.m. Also on Friday, Tennessee State will meet East Tennessee State at 4 p.m. and Troy State and East Tennessee State will face off in the final match of the evening at 8 p.m. Saturday, UAB will play East Tennessee State at 11 a.m. and Tennessee State and Troy State will square off at 1 p.m.

Friday's afternoon session is free. Tickets for Friday's evening session and Saturday's matches are $5 for adults, $2 for children ages 2-12, children under 2 are admitted free and UAB students are admitted free with a valid student ID. In addition, free admission to all matches will be granted to anyone presenting a UAB-Troy State football ticket.
