Volleyball Falls To Weber State 3-0

OGDEN, Utah - UAB (2-7, 0-0 Conference USA) fell to Weber State (6-4, 0-0 Big Sky) 30-28, 30-22, 30-27 in volleyball action Friday evening at the Ogden Marriott Weber State Classic held on the campus of Weber State University.

Junior Martina Shields led UAB with 15 kills, while senior Dina Katsoulis added 44 assists.

Junior outside hitter Stephanie Kropushek posted 14 kills and senior outside hitter Holly Montano recorded a double-double with 11 kills and 11 digs for Weber State.

UAB lost to UC Riverside 3-0 earlier in the day.

The Blazers face Lamar (6-3, 0-0 Southland Conference) Saturday at noon (MT) in their final match of the tournament.
