Softball loses two key starters

Greenville, N. C. - Spring break for UAB softball gets off to a rocky start when Head Coach Marla Townsend announces the suspension of two key starters. Junior outfielder Cliffanie Engram (Pelham, Ala.) and freshman outfielder Kristin Stanfill (Goodlettsville, Tenn.) have been suspended for an indefinite period of time for breaking team rules. Disciplinary action will be taken.

Sophomore utility player Amber Rouse (Morris, Ala.) removed herself from the team this past weekend before disciplinary actions could be taken due to her breaking team rules.
