Volleyball Hosts Spring Fling Tournament Saturday At Bartow Arena

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB volleyball team will host the Spring Fling Tournament Saturday at Bartow Arena. Competing teams include UAB, Samford, Alabama A&M, Alabama State, Bevill State, Middle Tennessee, Troy State and West Alabama.

The tournament will feature a "round robin" format and includes a championship and consolation match.

UAB will face Alabama A&M at 9 a.m., West Alabama at 11 a.m. and Troy State at 2 p.m.

Admission to the tournament is free.

The Blazers will travel to Tuscaloosa to participate in Alabama?s spring tournament April 13. Participating teams include UAB, Alabama, Mississippi State, Georgia State, Florida State and Tulane.
