Blazers Six Shots Back of USF at Beaconwoods Invitational

BAYONET POINT, Fla. - At the Beaconwoods Invitational, host University of South Florida took a first round lead with a 309, but five schools are within three shots of the Bulls. UAB shot a first round 315 and sit just six shots off the lead.

Firing an opening round of 74, Heather Lourie sits one shot off the lead of 73 held by four players. Karen Quinn is the next Blazer back tied for 33rd.

Play will continue again tomorrow and Sunday.
