Ashley Veach enters her sixth season on the UAB volleyball coaching staff in 2026, serving as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. Veach officially joined the Blazers in January 2021 and was promoted to recruiting coordinator in 2025, taking on an expanded role in the program’s recruiting efforts and roster development.

During her time at UAB, Veach has helped produce nine All-Conference performers across Conference USA and the American Athletic Conference.

Prior to joining UAB, Veach spent the 2019 season as an assistant coach at Lander University. In her lone season with the Bearcats, she helped guide the program to a 20-10 record, marking Lander’s fifth 20-win season in six years.

Veach began her collegiate coaching career at Birmingham-Southern College, joining the Panthers’ staff in 2014. During her time at Birmingham-Southern, she helped lead the Panthers to three consecutive 20-win seasons and the first NCAA Tournament victory in program history in 2015.

A four-year letterwinner at Ole Miss, Veach helped the Rebels to 52 victories during her career. She appeared in 369 sets and was named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll three times.

A native of Alpharetta, Georgia, Veach was a standout prep player at Northview High School, where she helped lead the program to three state championships. She was named the Georgia 5A Player of the Year in 2008 and finished her career with the program record for service aces (272). She also established Northview’s single-season records for aces (90) in 2006 and digs (562) in 2008.
