2006-07: UAB[apos]s top player off the bench as a sophomore, Jones was honored as Conference USA[apos]s Sixth Player of the Year ... played in all 32 games, averaging 28.2 minutes per contest ... scored 9.7 ppg and grabbed 2.8 rpg ... tallied 82 assists on the year, which was tied for the second-highest assists on the squad ... also contributed 15 blocks and 57 steals during the season ... sank 109-of-338 (.322), including 44-of-166 from beyond the arc (.265) ... made 66.7 percent of her free throws during the season, hitting 48-of-72 ... had 15 double-digit scoring outings, including a new career-high of 27 points by going 9-of-14 against Northwestern State (12/28) ... also set new single-game personal-bests in four other categories throughout the year, including rebounds (8), assists (6), steals (6) and blocks (3).
2005-06: Got a sensational start to her collegiate career, emerging as one of UAB[apos]s top players in her freshman season ... named to the Conference USA All-Freshmen squad and earned the team[apos]s Newcomer of the Year award at season[apos]s end ... finished third on the team in scoring with 12.1 ppg, including a second team-best 15.3 ppg in conference play ... hit 114-of-268 (.425) from the field and 55-of-138 (.399) from behind the arc ... ranked third in C-USA in three-point field goal percentage (.399) and fifth in three-point field goals made (55) ... also tallied 54 assists, 36 steals and eight blocks ... scored in double figures 16 times throughout the season ... established a new career-high against Tulsa (1/13) when she nabbed 22 points on 9-of-16 shooting, including a trio of three-pointers.
