Mark Ward enters his second year as the volunteer assistant coach at UAB.

Ward comes to Birmingham after spending two seasons as an assistant at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Ala.

Prior to his stint at Huntingdon, he served as an assistant at Greenville University in Greenville, Ill. from 2015-17. While at Greenville Ward helped guide his student athletes to a team GPA of 3.4.

He spent the 2014-15 season as a volunteer assistant at McKendree University in Lebanon, Ill.

Ward is a graduate of Greenville University where he received his bachelorβs degree in recreation sports management in 2014.
