AS A REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2022):
Second Team All-Conference USA… Appeared and started in ten games…Started the first nine games of the year at center for the top offensive line unit in Conference USA before missing the next three with injury, played in Bahamas Bowl…Helped UAB rush for 235.3 yards per game which is 8th nationally…UAB rushed for over 215 yards in ten of 13 games…Member of the O-line unit that selected for the Joe Moore Award Midseason Honor Roll…Paved the way for record-setting running back DeWayne McBride, who led the nation in rushing.

AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2021):
Played in nine games with six starts at center for UAB...Part of the Blazer offensive line that helped UAB running backs rush for 2,737 yards on the season...UAB was 5-1 in games Rykard started, including the 31-28 Independence Bowl victory over No. 13 BYU.

AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2020):
Appeared in five contests with three starts... Part of a Blazer offensive line that allowed only four sacks on the season, the fewest in Conference USA and fourth-fewest in the nation... Helped UAB's running backs rush for 1,800 yards on the season, good for an average of 200 yards per game.
