A three year started for head coach Dell McGee at Carver High School… Was tabbed a first-team all-city and all-region performer as a senior by the Columbus Ledger Enquier… also earned second-team all-city honors as a junior… A standout in the classroom, he carried a 3.5 GPA and earned a spot on the first-team all-state acadmic team… Was rated as the No. 104 cornerback in the country and No. 8 in the state of Georgia by ESPN.com… Also one of the top wide recerived in his region, he averaged 19.9 yards a catch (22/438) and grabbed five touchdowns during senior season… Helped lead team to a 13-1 record and a final ranking of No. 14 in the state of Georgia… Team captured 5-AA Region Championship
