Played at Albertville High School… Over the course of his junior and senior seasons he played in 20 games, carrying the ball 182 times for 1,173 yards, and scored 15 touchdowns… Recorded 16 receptions for 175 yards… He was just as effective on the defensive side of the ball registering 113 tackles, and three interceptions… Received interest from Troy, Jacksonville State, South Alabama, Auburn, Memphis, and Middle Tennessee… Member of the track and field team.
