Chris Robb returns to the Blazers for his 4th season as the Director of Football Video Services under leadership of Head Coach Alex Mortensen. Robb oversees the entire video department and manages 15+ student assistants who are responsible for filming, editing, archiving practice and game film as well as administering/troubleshooting all technology in the Football Operations building. Robb also assists with the recruiting department for numerous tasks with High School recruiting and the transfer portal.
Prior to UAB Robb served in the same role at his Alma mater Alabama State University where he oversaw the video department and managed 10+ student assistants in the success of the football program. Robb also played a pivotal role in recruiting and coordinated the programs social media platforms. In 2022-23 season, Robb was selected as the 2022 FCS Video Coordinator of the Year Award. Robb was the first ever to represent the award at an HBCU; He was also a finalist for the Bob Matey award, which is rewarded to the Video Coordinator, who displays innovation, determination, perseverance and technical skill as portrayed by the late Bob Matey, legendary Video Coordinator from Texas A&M.
In 2021-2022 Robb served as the Wide Receivers coach at Virginia State University under former Head Coach Reggie Barlow. During his time here he was responsible for coaching his position in the development of the wide receiver group on and off the field, and recruiting the greater Richmond area, Northern Virginia, Montgomery County MD, and Prince George County MD.
Robb was a student assistant coach for the Alabama State Hornets football team in the 2017-2019 seasons in which he assisted with the wide receivers.
Montgomery county Maryland native, Robb graduated from Watkins Mill High School in 2012 where he played wide receiver and cornerback for the Wolverines.
Robb earned a Bachelor's degree in health sciences with a concentration in rehabilitation services from Alabama State University.
