2009-10 (Wallace State CC)
· Played for coach Randy Putman at Wallace State
· Redshirt the 2010 season due to injury
· Limited to just four innings in 2010 but struck out eight batters
· Went 4-1 with a 2.33 ERA as a freshman in 2009
· Recorded 49 strikeouts in 38.2 innings while holding opponents to a .144 batting average in that freshman campaign
· Helped Wallace State to a 38-13 overall record in 2009

High School
· Played at Lawrence County High School in Moulton, Ala., for coach Rory Carpenter
· Guided his team to the state semifinals as a senior in 2008
· A Class 4A all-state selection by the Alabama Sportswriters Association and 4A Pitcher of the Year as a senior
· A two-way player and one of Lawrence County[apos]s top hitters
· Also an all-state selection as a junior
· Earned all-county and all-area recognition every year of his high school career
