SENIOR SEASON (2017)
- All-Conference USA Second Team
- Tasked with moving from closer to Friday night starter
- Compiled a 6-4 record with a 4.90 ERA over a team-high 75.1 innings
- 54 strikeouts versus 20 walks in 18 games with 12 starts
- Career-highs for a season in innings pitched and games started
- All six wins came in Conference USA play, as he was tied for second in the league in wins
- Only UAB pitcher to exceed 34 innings (60) and 28 strikeouts (44) in conference play
- Tossed the ninth complete game, one-hitter in C-USA history on March 20 at WKU
- Needed just 87 pitches to get through 28 batters – one over the minimum – while walking none and tying his career-best with six strikeouts
- Tabbed as Conference USA Pitcher of the Week for his performance
- Added two more six K games against Marshall (April 7) and Southern Miss (May 12)
- Notched saves in two of his first three appearances of the year
- Final save came against Louisiana-Monroe on Friday, March 10
- Started the second game of the doubleheader that Sunday versus the Warhawks after finishing Friday’s contest
- First start of the year came on Sunday, March 5 at Georgia when he combined with Carson Jones to throw a two-hitter in a tough luck loss

- When on a stretch where he was 5-0 across six starts

JUNIOR SEASON (2016)
- Served predominately as the Blazers closer as he notched eight saves, the most in a single-season for the Blazers since 2012
- Appeared in 22 games with two starts
- ERA (2.82) and walks (21) were the lowest on the team for players with 10 or more appearances
- Earned 49 strikeouts over 51 innings pitched
- Exceptionally strong from mid to late season, allowing just five runs over his final 15 appearances (1.30 ERA) and never giving up more than a single run in that stretch
- Lowered his ERA in each of his last five appearances of the season
- Ended the season by throwing a season-high 6.1 innings and 84 pitches in a spot start, limiting Charlotte to one run on May 19
- Named to Conference USA Preseason All-Conference Team and NCBWA Preseason Stopper of the Year Watch List before the season
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2015)
- Led the club in overall appearances (27) and innings pitched out of the pen (55.1)
- Totaled a 2.11 ERA and 7-3 record
- The ERA mark was the seventh-lowest in a single-season for the Blazers (min. 50 IP)
- Seven wins tied for fourth in C-USA and ranked second on the squad
- Ranked 12th in the league in strikeouts (62), with a strikeout-to-walk ratio of 62-17
- Ranked sixth in the league in games finished (12) and seventh in appearances
- Also ranked sixth in C-USA in games in relief
- Combined for three shutouts and recorded three saves
- Allowed just 13 earned runs and held opposing hitters to a .177 batting average
- Held opponents hitless in 10 of his 27 appearances
- 18-of-27 appearances were scoreless outings
- Struck out seven in 4.1 innings of work at FIU (May 9)
- Struck out six of the 11 batters he faced vs. Southern Miss (April 4)
FRESHMAN SEASON (2014)
- Named to the 2014 Conference USA All-Freshman Team
- Was one of the key relievers out of the bullpen for the Blazers
- Went 5-2 with a 3.02 ERA in 21 appearances
- Tallied four saves in 50.2 innings pitched, allowing just 17 earned runs with 45 strikeouts
- Started in one contest at Alabama (April 9) and went 1.1 innings
- Struck out a season-high five hitters against Middle Tennessee (March 8) and Tulane (May 11)
HIGH SCHOOL
- Played at nearby Pelham HS for four years under Sean Anderson and UAB alum Jeff Mauldin
- Named the AWSA Class 6A Pitcher of the Year in 2013
- Earned Super All-State accolades and two-time Birmingham News Metro Pitcher of the Year
- Named an Alabama Baseball Coaches Association top-100 prospect as both a sophomore and junior
- Led his team to the 2013 Class 6A state championship, tossing a 16-strikeout one-hitter in the state
quarterfinals
- Finished his final high school season with a 10-1 record, 1.65 ERA, and 116 strikeouts in 85 innings pitched
- Compiled an 8-1 record in 2012 and posted the lowest ERA in Pelham HS history at 0.83
- Fired four shutouts and totaled 93 strikeouts on the mound en route to earning a number of accolades
- Tallied a 16-strikeout performance as a sophomore in 2011
