Khalil Bell enters his first season as a Graduate Assistant for UAB Baseball.
Bell played six years of college baseball, playing two seasons at each stop he made. He spent the 2024 and 2025 seasons at Montevallo where he played 58 games for the Falcons as an outfielder, making 23 starts.
Prior to his time at Montevallo, Bell spent two seasons at Eastern Kentucky where he was a two-time Atlantic Sun Conference Honor Roll recipient. He saw action in 2023 in six games before suffering a season-ending injury. In 2022, he played in 14 games, making five starts and helped the Colonels advance to the A-Sun semifinals.
Bell began his collegiate career at Bishop State Community College in Mobile where he was a standout outfielder for the Wildcats. In 2021, Bell batted .340 with two home runs, eight doubles, 19 RBIs and four stolen bases and had a .526 slugging percentage. The season prior, he hit .413 with nine doubles and 10 RBIs before the Covid-19 Pandemic shortened the season. He was also chosen as the Most Outstanding Bishop State Community College Athlete.
Bell hails from Birmingham and graduated from Montevallo in 2025 with a degree in Exercise and Nutrition Science.
