UAB Volleyball to Play First Six Home Matches at Hoover High School Amid Bartow Arena Renovations

BIRMINGHAM – Due to ongoing renovations at Bartow Arena, UAB volleyball will play its first six home matches of the 2026 season at Hoover High School.
The Blazers will open their home schedule on Sunday, Oct. 4, against Tulsa at 1 p.m. UAB will then host Memphis on Friday, Oct. 9, at 6:30 p.m. The home slate will continue with East Carolina on Friday, Oct. 16, at 6:30 p.m., followed by a Sunday afternoon matchup against Temple on Oct. 18 at 1 p.m.
UAB will return to Hoover High School on Friday, Oct. 30, to face Charlotte at 6:30 p.m. The Blazers will then host UTSA on Sunday, Nov. 1, at 1 p.m.
Admission is free for all UAB students, Gold Card members and Blazer Buddies members. Single-match tickets are $7 and are available through GoFan. All ticket purchases must be made by card on matchday. Parking is free for all six matches at Hoover High School, and concessions will be available. Doors will open one hour prior to each match. Matches will not be streamed.
