Olin Selected to All-Conference Team

DALLAS, Texas - UAB's Erik Olin has been named to the All-American Conference Team, the league office announced. Olin, a graduate transfer from Falsterbo, Sweden, made an immediate impact in his first season with the Blazers. He led UAB with a 71.6 stroke average during the fall and recorded 10 rounds at or below par, along with three top-20 finishes.
He also earned American Conference Player of the Week honors on Feb. 11 after a strong early spring performance.
Olin posted a low round of 68 and a 54-hole low of 208 during the season, while consistently finishing near the top of leaderboards. He captured medalist honors at the Thomas Sharkey Individual Collegiate, finishing at 10-under par, one of the top individual performances of the year .
For the season, Olin owns a 70.5 scoring average with a team-best finish of first place and multiple top-10 results, ranking among the top players in the American Conference .
Olin transferred to UAB in the fall after beginning his collegiate career at USC Aiken and quickly established himself as one of the Blazers' most reliable performers.
He now awaits potential selection to the NCAA Regionals as an individual. The 2026 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Selection Show will air Wednesday, May 6 at 1 p.m. CT on Golf Channel, where the 81 teams and 45 individual selections will be announced.
