BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – UAB men's basketball head coach Andy Kennedy has announced the signing of JUCO transfer Tim Holliday.
"Great to welcome Tim to the Blazer family," Kennedy said. "Tim is a three-level scorer capable of igniting runs for us offensively. He also has a strong build that allows him to impact the game defensively. Tim had a tremendous first year at ICC, and that experience will aid in his transition to the Division I level."
The Fulton, Mississippi, native began his collegiate career at Itawamba Community College, where he appeared in 31 games. Holliday averaged 14.0 points and 3.7 rebounds per game while shooting 38.7% from three-point range. His overall shooting efficiency during his freshman season was impressive, connecting on 45.5% from the field and 82.0% from the free-throw line.
UAB has added a proven scorer in Holliday, who recorded 13 games with 15 or more points, including seven performances of 20+ points. He posted a season-high 44 points against Community Christian College on Jan. 5, shooting 9-of-16 from three-point range and a perfect 9-for-9 from the free-throw line.
The 6-foot-3 sharpshooter played his high school basketball at Itawamba Agricultural High School under head coach Darryl Wilson.
Holliday becomes the fourth addition to the Blazers' 2026 signing class, joining high school recruits Jakobi Sharp and Korie Corbett, along with fellow JUCO transfer Shah Hall.
