Coach Kennedy Signs Shah Hall from Shelton State

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – UAB men's basketball head coach Andy Kennedy has announced the signing of JUCO big man Shah Hall.
"Really excited to have Shah join our program," Kennedy said. "He comes from a junior college program under head coach Joe Eatmon that we have great respect for. Shah is 6-foot-10 with great length, giving us a real paint presence on both ends of the floor. Still relatively young in his basketball journey, we know his best basketball is ahead of him."
The Tuscaloosa, Ala., native began his collegiate career at Northwest Mississippi Community College, where he appeared in 14 games. He then transferred to Shelton State Community College but was sidelined for most of the 2024–25 season due to a foot injury. Hall bounced back during his sophomore campaign, making 28 starts while averaging 9.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks per game.
The athletic center recorded four double-doubles at Shelton State, including a 20-point, 14-rebound performance against Wallace State.
The 6-foot-10 big man played his high school basketball at Tuscaloosa Hillcrest under head coach Scott Suttles.
Hall becomes the third addition to the Blazers' 2026 class, joining high school recruits Jakobi Sharp, and Korie Corbett.
