Blazers Battle to the Buzzer, Fall at Tulane 73-68

NEW ORLEANS, La. – UAB women's basketball (7-11, 0-6 American) battled Tulane (8-10, 3-3 American) for 40 minutes on Saturday at Devlin Fieldhouse but a late fourth-quarter push by the Green Wave earned them a 73-68 win.
The Blazers had four players score in double figures with Cali Smallwood leading UAB by recording 17 points. Sofia Munoz registered 14 points while Eleecia Carter tallied 11 points. Monae' Duffy came away with 10 points and five rebounds.
Tulane was led by Amira Mabry with 13 points, while Dyllan Hanna recorded 12. Jayda Brown registered 11 points and Kanija Daniel and Shiloh Kimpson each tallied 10 points.
