UAB Athletics Unveils Bartow Arena Pricing and Allocation Details for 2026-27 Basketball Season

Bartow Arena Pricing and Allocation Details
BIRMINGHAM – The UAB Department of Athletics has unveiled season ticket pricing and allocation details to provide Blazer fans and the Birmingham community with the best opportunity to build their priority leading into the newly renovated Bartow Arena in advance of the 2026-27 season.
UAB Athletics will be utilizing the 2025-26 season to help educate and prepare fans for the updates and processes. The pricing and allocation details are included here along with a timeline of important dates to know prior to the 2026-27 basketball season.
The Bartow Arena renovation features enhanced premium hospitality space, including a new Concourse Club that pairs seating with hospitality for a truly elite gameday experience. Green & Gold Room access remains for patrons wanting to sit outside the Concourse Club and will be available during pregame and at halftime.
Public season ticket packages during the 2026-27 season will be set at $275 in upper level seating and $300 in lower level seating with scholarship seating available in the best locations throughout the new seating configuration. 2026-27 season ticket packages can be purchased for as low as $125 with a Blaze's Corner season ticket. UAB employees and UAB National Alumni Society members are also eligible to receive a 10% discount off the season ticket price.
The 2026-27 UAB Basketball priority seating and parking selections will begin in July of 2026 following a June 30, 2026 basketball priority seat deadline. Due to the impending renovations, the priority selections will include a complete reseating process, along with enhanced seating for the Gang Green student section and expanded courtside seating. Patrons will be given personal appointment times to select their seating and parking during the priority allocation process. The order of selection will be based upon the Blazer Boosters Priority Points System, which rewards Blazer fans for their generosity and loyalty. Priority points and donor rank will include all support for UAB Athletics completed by the June 30, 2026 UAB Basketball priority seat deadline.

The $14.6 million Bartow Arena renovation project is intended to feature four main components:
- Entrance lobby expansion
- Club-level lounge and club-level seating for enhanced viewing experience
- Replacement of lower bowl retractable seating to elevate fan experience
- Concourse improvements including lighting and updated restrooms
Pending UAB Athletics reaching fundraising goals and additional UA System Board of Trustee approvals, the project is anticipated to break ground following the completion of UAB's Spring 2026 Commencement ceremonies.
