UAB Baseball Releases 2025 Fall Schedule

BIRMINGHAM - UAB Head Baseball Coach Casey Dunn has announced the slate for the fall 2025 season. The Blazers will hit the road for two exhibition games against two NCAA tournament teams in the month of October, capped off with the Green and Gold Fall World Series at the end of the month.
The first exhibition will be played in Atlanta as UAB plays at Georgia Tech on Friday, October 10 at Mac Neese Baseball Park at Russ Chandler Stadium at 5 p.m. Eastern/4 p.m. Central against the Yellow Jackets. Georgia Tech finished the 2025 season 41-19 (19-11) and were the regular season champions of the ACC where they advanced to the Oxford Regional. Tech finished the season ranked 24th in the D1Baseball poll.
The second half of the fall docket for the Blazers comes on Saturday, October 25 as they travel to Mike Martin Field at Dick Howser Stadium to play Florida State at noon Eastern/11 a.m. Central. FSU advanced through the Tallahassee Regional undefeated and closed their season in the Corvallis Super Regional in three games. The Seminoles finished second in the ACC with a 42-16 (17-10) record and closed the 2025 season ranked 10th in the D1Baseball poll.
The Green and Gold Fall World Series will be held Tuesday, October 28-Thursday, October 30 at UAB's Young Memorial Field. Game times will be determined at a later date.
UAB welcomes 19 newcomers to the team this fall with 17 players returning from the 2025 team.

2025 Pickleball Fundraiser
UAB Baseball is set to host the Blazer Open, a pickleball tournament as a fundraiser for the program. The tournament will be held at The Picklr in Vestavia Hills on November 1-2. The Picklr is a premium indoor pickleball venue located on 1031 Montgomery Highway (Suite 1031). The men's and women's doubles tournaments will be held on November 1 while the mixed doubles tournament will be on November 2. For more information on the tournament, click HERE.
