UAB Men's Basketball Golf Tournament Set for September 17

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB Men's Basketball Golf Tournament is set for September 17 with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start at Highland Park Golf Course. All proceeds for the tournament will benefit the Competitive Excellence Fund – Men's Basketball. This fund supports efforts to recruit, retain, and develop UAB men's basketball student-athletes, helping UAB Athletics remain competitive at the highest level.
Breakfast begins at 8:00 a.m. and the practice range will open at 7:00 a.m. for those interested. Packages for the golf tournament are available to purchase here and are as follows:
"We look forward to a great day of golf and hope you will join me and our staff in September," said UAB men's basketball head coach Andy Kennedy. "Our annual golf tournament is a great way to directly support our program and experience a day of camaraderie with fellow Blazers."
The UAB men's basketball team has accumulated 125 wins since 2020, which is tied for 11th nationally in college basketball. Under Coach Kennedy's guidance, the men's basketball program has played in the postseason each of the last four seasons, including two NCAA Tournament appearances while also making two significant runs in the NIT Tournament. The Blazers have also made the last four conference championship games, dating back to 2022.

2025-26 SEASON TICKETS
Season tickets for the 2025-26 UAB men's basketball season are now available. Season ticket packages include all regular season home games and provide the most cost-effective way for fans to attend games at Bartow Arena.
2024-25 season ticket holder renewal applications are available now through uabsports.com leading into the 2025-26 season. The men's basketball priority seating deadline to complete renewal applications is September 1, 2025. New season ticket holders can purchase by clicking here. Season parking passes are available for $120, and both seating locations and parking will be allocated based on the Blazer Boosters Priority Points System following the September 1st deadline. Premium seating is also available, including hospitality access. Fans may also request additional information by clicking here.
UAB employees and UAB Alumni are eligible to receive a 10% discount off the season ticket price by contacting the UAB Athletics Ticket Office at (205) 975-UAB1. UAB employees are also able to pay for season ticket packages through payroll deduction.
