Men’s Golf Places 10th at AAC Championship

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB men's golf team completed its season with a 10th place finish at the American Athletic Conference Championship at the Ritz-Carlton Members Club in Sarasota, Fla.
Paul Bruce was the only Blazer who shot under par as the senior capped his career with a 21st place finish at -3. Bruce shot 71-72-70 = 213 four his fifth tournament at or under par this season.
Bruce had a solid senior season by leading the Blazers in stroke average (72.3) while additionally pacing the Blazers in rounds at or under par (13).
Morgan Slaton was UAB's second finisher at +2 and he tied for 36th overall. He was followed by Jonathan Ericsson (+3, T40), John Bruce (+8, 46th) and Bernhard Koster (+16, T51).
