Know Before You Go: UAB Football Hosts Spring Showcase

BIRMINGHAM – UAB Football is set to host its Spring Showcase presented by Legacy Community Federal Credit Union and AL.com this Saturday, April 26, at Legacy Pavilion. Below are the key details fans need to know before heading to campus this weekend.
Event: Free and open to the public
Parking: Free parking will be available at four different lots around the UAB Football Operations Center. A parking map is available here.
Gates: Gates will open at 10 a.m. to the public with two entrances:
Family Fun Zone: The Family Fun Zone will be set up on the outdoor practice field with inflatables and sponsor activations. The Family Fun Zone is available starting at 10 a.m. and accessible during the entirety of the event. Giveaways will be available at the marketing table while supplies last, and fans may purchase or renew their season tickets and Blazer Boosters memberships on site.
What to Bring: Fans are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs. Small coolers will be permitted for drinks and snacks inside, but large coolers are not allowed.
Vendors: Food vendors on Saturday include Chick-Fil-A and Wasabi Juans, along with water stations for fans to enjoy. In addition, the UAB Bookstore will have the latest gear for fans to purchase leading into the 2025 season.
Spring Showcase Format: The UAB Football team will participate in a meet-and-greet beginning at 10 a.m., followed by a scrimmage at approximately 11 a.m. The event concludes around 1 p.m. so Blazer fans may enjoy the softball and baseball games taking place on campus this weekend.
Other Events: Following the Spring Showcase, fans are encouraged to head across the street to Mary Bowers Field as the UAB Softball team hosts East Carolina at 1 p.m. and UAB Baseball hosts Rice at 2 p.m.
2025 Season Tickets: 2025 UAB Football season tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by clicking here. - UBob Parking Deck (Corner of University Blvd and 13th Street)
