Men’s Tennis Opens the American Conference Championship on Thursday

BIRMINGHAM – UAB men's tennis earned the No. 9 seed in the American Conference Tennis Championship and will face No. 8 Wichita State on Thursday at 2 p.m. CT in Memphis.
The Blazers finished the regular season with an 8-13 record after dropping their final two regular season matches this past weekend against Jacksonville State and Rice, each by a score of 4-0.
UAB fell 4-1 to Wichita State in their first meeting this season in Birmingham.
The winner of Thursday's match will take on top-seeded South Florida on Friday.
