Rifle Finishes Third at SoCon Championships

STATESBORO, Ga. – UAB Rifle finished third at the SoCon Championships over the weekend posting an aggregate score of 4573. No. 4 Georgia Southern swept the aggregate, smallbore and air rifle championships for the second straight season.

Meghan McLaughlin qualified for the smallbore finals after a standout performance on day one of the championships with a smallbore score of 571. She placed eighth overall in the final.

McLaughlin again was the top performer for the Blazers in air rifle, posting a score of 581. Her aggregate score of 1152 was a personal best.
