Women’s Golf to Compete in the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB women's golf team is set to compete in its first tournament of the spring at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational. The three-day tournament will begin on Friday at the National Course at Reynolds Lake Oconee.

The tournament is hosted by Mercer and includes 15 teams. Along with UAB and Mercer, the field includes Tulane, Florida, South Dakota State, Delaware, Western Kentucky, FAU, Boston College, Wofford, ECU, UNCG, Daytona State, East Tennessee State and WCU.

The tournament will play 18 holes each day with shotgun starts at 11:30 a.m. CST Friday, 11:00 a.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m. Sunday. The course is a par 72 that plays 6,195 yards.

The Blazers' starting five includes Grace Sinclair, Brooke Wagner, Chloe Ruble, Ceci Lococo and Lauren Gilchrist.
