American Conference Weekly Honors: Jacob Meyer

BIRMINGHAM, ALA. - Jacob Meyer was named to the American Conference weekly awards for his performances against Southern Illinois and UTEP.
Meyer earned honorable mention, starting off the week with 20 points and eight rebounds against Southern Illinois shooting 4-of-8 from three-point range.
Against UTEP, Meyer shot 9-of-16 from the field putting up 21 points and five rebounds. He averaged 20.5 points and 6.5 rebounds over the two-game span. He is averaging 16.9 points and 3.8 rebounds per game so far this season.
UAB is back in action tonight to face Middle Tennessee on the road at 6:30 p.m. in the Murphy Center.
