Jakobi Sharp Signs with UAB Men’s Basketball

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Andy Kennedy and the UAB men's basketball team has announced the signing of Jakobi Sharp out of Gadsden, Alabama.
"Excited to have Jakobi join our program," Andy Kennedy said. "He is a strong and versatile lead guard who is capable of impacting the game on both ends of the court.
The 6'3 guard played high school basketball at Gadsden City High School all four years. Sharp averaged 22.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per game last season and was named North-South All Star Game MVP. He surpassed 1500 points so far in his high school career.
