Men’s Tennis Set to Face Southern Miss on Saturday

BIRMINGHAM – UAB men's tennis (0-1) will take on Southern Miss (0-2) in Hattiesburg on Saturday. The match is set for 12:30 p.m. CT.
UAB fell to Memphis in its first match of the season by a score of 7-0.
The Blazers are led by a group of experienced players, starting with seniors Noah Malige and Georgios Nouchakis. Malige Posted a 10-7 singles record last season and holds a 30-18 career mark while Nouchakis went 8-9 last season while posting a 15-19 mark overall as a Blazer.
Sophomores Juan Pablo Valdez and Ondrej Valek each picked up 10 singles wins last season and return for their second year as Blazers.
