UAB Women’s Golf to Host Hoover Invite

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB women's golf team is set to host the Hoover Invite this Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 16-17, at Hoover Country Club.
The Blazers welcome 13 schools to this year's Hoover Invite and the field includes Alabama, Georgia, Kennesaw State, Loyola Chicago, North Alabama, Palm Beach Stat, Samford, South Alabama, Southern Miss, Stetson, Tennessee Tech, ULM and West Georgia.
Monday will feature 36 holes, followed by the final 18 on Tuesday. Monday's shotgun start begins at 8:30 a.m.
The Blazers will field the same starting five from their first tournament, which includes Lauren Gilchrist, Grace Sinclair, Brooke Wagner, Chloe Ruble and Anna Krieger.
Additionally, the Blazers will have five individuals in the field: Zoe Hobbs, Ceci Lococo, Ava Schwartz, Tais Moreno and Tori Waters.
