UAB Volleyball Releases 2024 Promotional Schedule

BIRMINGHAM – With 14 home showings in Bartow Arena, UAB Volleyball gears up for their second season in the AAC. The Green and Gold feature 12 themed nights in their home arena, including SEC Matchups, a home tournament, and much more on the docket on the court.
Off the court, UAB will feature events spanning all interests, ages, and fans across the Blazer Nation fandom. From Greek Night to 2000s Night, fans can enjoy the talent on the court and engage with promotions in-game for all to participate in.
PROMOTIONAL SCHEDULE
International Night, Greek Night, and Dig For Donuts are just a few promotions fans can see this season for the 2024 Season.
The full promotional schedule is as follows for the 2024 season:
August 30-31 (Alcorn State/Miss. State)
- "Save Your Stub": Fans who attended the UAB Football Game at Alcorn State on August 29 can save their ticket stub and gain $3 entry into Blazer Volleyball's first match versus the Alcorn State Braves on Friday, August 30.
- "Youth Night": Any Blazer Volleyball Camp Alumni in uniform gain discounted entry in the Blazers Saturday matchup versus Mississippi State.
September 19-21 (Alabama Showdown)
- "2000s Night"/Student Appreciation Night: Grab your MP3 player and shutter shades, the Blazers kick off Day One of the Alabama Showdown versus South Alabama with a blast to the past. Students can participate in raffles between sets to win prizes.
- "Gang Green Night"/"Dig for Donuts": Gang Green, the official Student Section of UAB Athletics is encouraged to attend the Blazers meeting versus Auburn on Friday. Fans can also receive donuts upon entry to the arena.
- "Mental Health Awareness": UAB Volleyball will have a mental health awareness match. Fans are encouraged to wear green.
September 27 (Tulsa)
- "Greek Night": IFC, NPHC, and all Greeks are invited to cheer on the Blazers in their meeting versus Tulsa.
October 4 (Wichita State)
- "International Night": International students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to attend the Blazers' matchup against Wichita State.
October 11-13 (Temple/Charlotte)
- "SAAC Night": Student-athletes can attend the Blazers' match against Temple.
- "Special Olympics Night": UAB Volleyball invites Special Olympics athletes to the Sunday afternoon match versus Charlotte.
October 20 (Tulane)
- "Halloween Match"/BBKC: Bring your best Halloween costume to the Green and Gold's match against Tulane.The Blazers will also have promotions for Blazer Buddies Kids Club members.
November 1-3 (UNT/ECU)
- "Homecoming Weekend"
- The Blazers invite Alumni on Friday for Alumni Night festivities as they take on the Mean Green to kick off homecoming weekend. Register using the link here.
- On Sunday, the Blazers will celebrate their four seniors for Senior Day in their match versus East Carolina.
November 6 (Memphis)
- "Salute to Service"/"Canned Food Drive": Active and retired military can gain $3 entry with a valid military ID in the Blazers' rivalry match against Memphis. Fans who bring 3 canned goods gain $3 entry.
RECURRING EVENTS:
- "Post-Match Autograph Session": Fans can mingle and receive autographs from UAB Volleyball after their cooldown session.

2024-25 GOLD CARD
The 2024-25 Gold Card is on Sale. The 2024-25 Gold Card will get you access to all home events for Women's Soccer, Men's Soccer, Volleyball, Women's Basketball, Softball, and Baseball (Regions Field & Young Memorial). This card is not valid for AAC or NCAA Championship events.
