UAB Women’s Golf Set for First Ever AAC Championship

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB women's golf team is set for its first ever American Athletic Conference Championship tournament this week, April 15-17, at the Southern Hills Plantation Club in Brookesville, Fla.
The Blazers are one of 12 AAC teams competing this week and fields a team consisting of Grace Sinclair, Emilia Smith, Cece Lococo, Ava Schwartz and Brooke Wagner. Sinclair is coming off a second place individual finish at the Brickyard last week in Macon, Ga.
The field will play 18 holes each day and the final round will air on ESPN+ beginning at 9 a.m. CT. SMU is the reigning champion.
The course is a par 72 that plays 6,289 yards. Live results for the entire week can be found by clicking here.
