Rifle Posts Program Record 4611 in NCAA Qualifier

JACKSONVILLE, Ala. β UAB Rifle posted a program record score of 4611 on Saturday in the NCAA Qualifier. Five different Blazers posted personal bests to contribute to the school record.

Christopher Comstock recorded the Blazers top aggregate score, a personal best 1164. He recorded a personal best smallbore mark of 579 and an air rifle score of 585. Amy Kohan recorded the Blazers' second highest aggregate score with an 1153.

Meghan McLaughlin was the Blazers' third aggregate performer with an 1151. McLaughlin set a new personal best of 572 in smallbore and had a 579 in air rifle.

In Air Rifle, Emily Buck recorded a team-high 588, a personal best. Buck also recorded a PR with an aggregate score of 1146.

Madelyn Lee recorded a personal best in smallbore of 567. Another Blazer, Emma Bueschel, recorded personal bests of 564 in smallbore and a 1134 aggregate score.
