2024 Hall of Fame Spotlight: Drew Ferguson

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB Department of Athletics will induct the late Drew Ferguson into its Hall of Fame this Friday night as a member of the Class of 2024.
Ferguson was UAB's first ever head athletic trainer under Coach Gene Bartow and was the Director of Sports Medicine from 1979-82. Ferguson then had a very distinguished career in sports medicine at UAB and Children's of Alabama.
He is a Blazer alum was a season ticket holder since 1982.
Ferguson passed away on Oct. 1, 2024.
The UAB Department of Athletics will honor the Class of 2024 on Friday night at The Florentine on Friday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m.

Sam Serley – Volleyball (2009-12)
Frank Schaffner – Men's Tennis (1991-94)
Marla Townsend – Softball Head Coach (2000-18)
