2024 Hall of Fame Spotlight: Sam Serley

BIRMINGHAM - The UAB Department of Athletics will be inducting Sam Serley (former volleyball player) into the Class of 2024 UAB Athletics Hall of Fame.
Serley ranks first all time in program history in block assists (428) and total blocks (564). Serley is second all-time in attack percentage (.340) and third all-time in solo blocks (136). She was a two-time AVCA All-American Honorable Mention and a two-time AVCA All-Midwest Region selection. She also helped UAB to a 23-9 record, which is one of the best seasons in program history. Serley is fourth all-time in Conference USA total blocks.

The UAB Department of Athletics will honor five individuals including Sam Serley at the Hall of Fame induction ceremony at The Florentine on Friday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. Tickets to the event must be pre-purchased by clicking here. The last day to buy tickets for the induction ceremony is Wednesday, Oct. 30.

The UAB Department of Athletics will recognize five Blazer legends during UAB Football's Homecoming game against Tulsa on Saturday, Nov. 2. Tickets to the homecoming game can be purchased by clicking with kickoff scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
