Toth Earns AAC Honorable Mention

BIRMINGHAM – UAB women's soccer had a player receive a weekly honor, as officials from the league office announced on Monday that Anika Toth earned Honorable Mention.
Toth, a graduate goalkeeper, played a major role in helping UAB earn 1-0 win over Tulsa on Thursday and a 2-1 victory at Temple on Sunday. She had 14 saves against Tulsa and three saves at Temple.
The shutout against Tulsa now has Toth sitting at seven shutouts this season and marked 14 for her career.
This is the third weekly honor for Toth this season, as she earned AAC Honorable Mention on September 9 and AAC Goalkeeper of the Week on September 23.
