Blazers Travel to the Music City for Live in Lou

BIRMINGHAM – UAB Cross Country travels to their first out-of-state race of the season at the 22nd annual Live in Louisville Cross Country Classic hosted by the Louisville Sports Commission on September 30. The Blazers come off a 14th-place finish at the Southern Showcase in Huntsville, with two personal record finishes on the weekend.
UAB enters with two notable performances by Ava Brooks and Anna Behmer, who had personal bests in the prior race at Huntsville. The Blazers finished in the top half of competition for the past two races, including a top-20 finish at their first race in Oxford.
They look to continue that level of competition in the women's blue race at 11:30 am on Saturday at Tom Sawyer Park. The Blazers are one of over 100 teams registered for the weekend race slot from Friday to Saturday afternoon.
