Cross Country Finishes Top-20 at Southern Showcase

HUNTSVILLE – The UAB Cross Country team finished with a Top-20 finish Friday morning at the Southern Showcase hosted by Jacksonville State. The Blazers totaled two personal bests in the Women's 5K, along with a Top-50 finish to add.
The Green and Gold started with Katie Keur leading the pack, where she eventually finished out with a 47th place finish for the Green and Gold. In addition to Keur's finish, Anna Behmer and Ava Brooks finished with personal bests in the 5K.
UAB would finish fourteenth overall as a team, putting them in the top half of the pack for the race.

The Blazers travel to the Music City for their first out-of-state road meet of the year at the Live in Louisville race, hosted by the University of Louisville. UAB will compete on Sept. 30.
