UAB Men’s Tennis Opens Home Slate

BIRMINGHAM – UAB men's tennis (0-1) will open the 2023 home slate on Saturday morning at the Hoover Met Tennis Center. The Blazers will open the weekend against South Alabama at 11:30 a.m. CT.
Following the Blazers' match against the Jaguars, UAB will then take on Alcorn State at 3 p.m. UAB will then finish the weekend against Alabama State on Sunday at 1 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
The Blazers fell at Alabama in the 2023 season opener, 5-2. Michal Lusovsky stood out for the Blazers, taking down then-No. 35 Enzo Aguiard in straight sets (7-5, 6-3). After dropping the first set, Noah Malige was able to come back and pick up another point for the Blazers, defeating the Crimson Tide's Zach Foster in a three-set battle (5-7, 7-6 [9-7], 11-9).
