Alejandro Vasquez Named to AAC Weekly Honor Roll

BIRMINGHAM – Alejandro Vasquez was named to the American Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll.
Vasquez scored a career high 25 points while grabbing four rebounds and dishing out two assists in UAB's win over Alcorn State. He was a perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line on the night. He raised his season average to 13.0 points per game while averaging 4.0 rebounds per contest.
His previous career high was set exactly four years during his time at St. Bonaventure when he scored 20 points against Rutgers on November 16, 2019. He spent two seasons at St. Bonaventure before attending Salt Lake Community College and transferring to UAB prior to this season.
