Beyer, Berryman Earn AAC Weekly Honors

BIRMINGHAM – The American Athletic Conference has announced Eve Beyer as the Goalkeeper of the Week and Avery Berryman as the Rookie of the Week on Friday for their efforts in the Blazers' 4-0 win over Temple on Thursday night.
Beyer faced nine shots with five saves and a clean sheet against Temple, which puts her at a .776 save percentage on the season. This is Beyer's first time weekly honor of the season, and she is the second goalkeeper for UAB to win the award this season.
Berryman scored the first goal of her career in the win against Temple to go along with an assist. Her new assist total now jumps to three, which ranks first on the roster.
These performances propelled the Blazers to a win over Temple, clinching a spot in the AAC Tournament where they will play the top-seeded Memphis Tigers in the first round on Tuesday, Oct. 31in Lake Ridge, Florida.
GOLD CARD
Women's Soccer season tickets are available for $65 by purchasing the 2023-24 Gold Card. The Gold Card will allow you to gain access to all home events for Women's Soccer, Men's Soccer, Volleyball, Women's Basketball, Softball, and Baseball (Regions Field & Young Memorial). This card is not valid for American Athletic Conference or NCAA Championship events.
BLAZER BUDDIES KIDS CLUB
Blazer Buddies is the new official kids club of UAB Athletics and is open to all kids ages 12 and under. Blazer Buddies will receive a Blazer Buddies Kids Club ID which grants admission to all home men's soccer, women's soccer, volleyball, women's basketball, softball, and baseball games.
