Meet The Staff: Offensive Line Coach Eddie Gordon

BIRMINGHAM – Coming off winning back-to-back national championships as a member of Georgia's staff, Head Coach Trent Dilfer named Eddie Gordon as UAB's offensive line coach in January of 2023.
"We are so lucky to get Eddie Gordon to join our staff here at UAB," Dilfer said. "Eddie was instrumental in the development of two national championship offensive lines. He is wildly respected in the offensive line community and was a key part of Georgia's success over the past few years."
Gordon was the offensive line graduate assistant for the Bulldogs from 2019-2021 and spent last season as an offensive quality control coach. Along with winning back-to-back titles, Georgia was in a New Year's Six bowl all four seasons while Gordon was there, including wins in 2019 Sugar Bowl and the 2020 Peach Bowl.
During Georgia's dominant run in which they were 29-1 over the last two seasons, the Bulldogs ranked fourth nationally in 2022 and sixth nationally in 2021 in sacks allowed, while also ranking top 20 in rushing offense in 2022.
Prior to joining Georgia, Gordon spent two seasons (2017-18) at his Alma Mater Louisiana. He was the Ragin' Cajuns' offensive line graduate assistant in 2017 and spent 2018 as the director of player development and assistant strength and conditioning coach.
A native of Boiling Springs, S.C., Gordon began his playing career at NC State in 2012 and then spent the 2013 season at Hutchinson Community College. He then transferred to Louisiana and played center for the Ragin' Cajuns from 2014-16.
Gordon graduated in 2016 from Louisiana with a degree in behavioral studies and earned his master's from Georgia in Education in 2021.
Gordon and his Fiancé Antonia plan to get married in July of 2024.
