Men’s Tennis Returns to Action at Samford Invitational, Three Blazers Travel to ITA All-Americans

BIRMINGHAM – UAB men's tennis will be back in action this weekend at a pair of events. The majority of the team will be participating in the Samford Invitational, beginning on Friday, Sept. 30. Three Blazers, Carolos Gimenez Perez, Roman Postolka and Michael Lusovsky, will be competing at the ITA All-American Championships, starting on Saturday, Oct. 1 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The ITA All-American draw has yet to be released. When available, the draw and live scoring will be available here.

SAMFORD INVITATIONAL SCHEDULE
Friday
Doubles vs. Samford at 1 p.m.
Singles vs. North Alabama at 2 p.m.

Saturday
Singles vs. Alabama State at 9:30 a.m.
Doubles vs. North Alabama at 12:30 p.m.

Sunday
Doubles vs. Alabama State at 12:30 p.m.
Singles vs. Samford at 1:30 p.m.

Parker Bradbary led the way for the Blazers during the first weekend with a 4-0 singles record while he and Chase Parker went 2-1 in doubles.
