Ethan Hagood Named Conference USA Golfer of the Week

BIRMINGHAM – For a ninth place individual finish at the Graeme McDowell Invitational, senior Ethan Hagood has been named the Conference USA Golfer of the Week.
On a course that played tremendously hard at RTJ Silver Lakes in Gadsden, Hagood notched his first top 10 finish of the season and was UAB's top finisher for a second-straight tournament.
The Birmingham native shot +6 (73-78-71) overall and saved his best golf for the final round by shooting a one under 71 which moved him up 14 spots to conclude the tournament.
Hagood led the Blazers to a fourth place team finish overall.
"This is a great confidence boost for Ethan as he enters his final year with us," Head Coach Matt Whall said. "His game is really improving nicely and we're looking to keep him trending forward as we move into the spring season."
